Established in 1965 by the visionary Sue Ann Loudon, the Baldwin Theatre Guild (BTG) stands as a beacon of artistic expression and community engagement in Maui.  For over half a century, BTG has captivated audiences with its vibrant productions, nurturing budding talents and fostering a love for theatre among generations of performers and enthusiasts alike.

From the Maui premieres of beloved Broadway hits like "Hairspray" and "Shrek" to timeless classics like "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Bye Bye Birdie," BTG has continually pushed the boundaries of theatrical innovation.  Under the guidance of dedicated directors like Sue Ann Loudon and Linda Carnevale, BTG has brought fresh and exciting productions to the island, captivating audiences with its dynamic performances.

Central to BTG's mission is the Baldwin Performing Arts Learning Center (PALC), a hub of creativity and learning where students from across the Maui District come to explore the performing arts.  Through a dynamic curriculum encompassing drama, play production, directing, and stagecraft, PALC empowers students to unleash their creative potential and hone their craft under the mentorship of seasoned professionals.

BTG transcends generations, welcoming passionate community members of all ages and backgrounds to participate in its productions.  From seasoned actors to first-time performers, volunteers and actors come together to create magical experiences on stage, fostering a sense of inclusivity and artistic camaraderie.
